this is a feeler, I'm thinking about selling my evogreen, I'm bored with it already and I only put about 500 miles on it maybe at the most.
I paid 1740 for it + shipping + 150 for the evo8 install kit.. basically 2k and I'll let it go for that (firm price, no waiting list here)
pm me

I also think that the Evo green is over rated

Dude, are you kidding me? 7lbs/min gain is roughly equal to 70whp gain. That would translate to about $240 per 10whp. That's not too bad considering what BMW owners pay to get an extra 10whp. On top of that, you don't loose any response or spool. Also, you get huge torque gains. The turbo costs $1700 for a reason. I think any sensible person could see that it isn't a bad deal.

I didn't wait 3 months. Sometimes it pays to be an early adopter and not a bandwagon jockey.
The turbo picked me up an additional 60 whp without much effort. Getting the AEM dialed in and removing the MAS brought the tally up to 85 whp gained on race gas and 65 whp gained on pump gas. Not bad for the money I thought, but more importantly, not bad for the super easy install and ability to still look stock and run in classes where the car is more competitive. I've always been a big turbo kind of guy myself, but sometimes people have different goals. Judging by the number people that jumped on this turbo, I'd say I wasn't alone either.

Kjewer1, you hit the nail on the head. I'm planning on running mine on E85 soon. I couldn't be happier with my 70 hp gain! If that's "overrated", well I guess I'll be running an "overrated" turbo!
Oh, and it only took 30 days to get mine.

actually not 1700$...
Its 995$ plus a 300$ core= 1300$ plus 18psi wastegate $65= 1365$
Don't turn in your core, and sell your evo ix turbo = 400+
So you go the turbo for basically $965
