I know that hotsides are tough to get these days though, we have a few 8 cores laying around the shop so we ordered some 10.5's a couple weeks ago to send everything in... still waiting on the hotsides to show up...

Only thing I can see is that whomever does the hotside milling to fit the larger wheel is the holdup, again this is only for those of us that send the cores with 10.5's ahead of time.
To answer your question I just bought mine outright. No core exchange, just bought the new one, listed at about $1700. I was told I would receive mine faster if I did it this way, at this point I dont think it matters. 3+ month wait makes just about anyone lose their patience.

Well I did some waiting. I bought the turbo outright on 7/13/07 and was told about 4 weeks wait. Well I've been debating and well I called today and found out it would be a 5 to 6 more week wait....and I was 4th from the last person on the list....BOOOOO!. Well anyways you guys got a long wait ahead of you. Going with the 3065 instead.

What?

For daily driving the turbo rocks anything I have seen or driven! I had a Gt3076r and Liked it but for daily driving light to light these things spool like hell!

the EVOgreen has landed! the package is in Memphis and should be delivered Monday.

I ordered it from FP ~ 6/16 and it's now 8/3

I didn't do the exchange, this was an outright purchase

I guess there's still hope I'll get mine before the Shootout. It's going on about 6 weeks for me too.

I'll do a full review of the turbo as soon as I get it installed and dial the tune in.
