Brian Crower? Are they good?

Has anyone bought the Brian Crower CAMS. They are selling them for $360 for a pair, and I was wondering if anyone has installed them in there car. If so how are they?

Talked to them on the phone today. the IX cams are in production and will be ready hopefully for purchase in 6 weeks. prices are amazing. I am sure they will perform.

So, the VIII cams are available. The IX cams will be soon!

I have the 272/272 VIII cams.

I am very pleased. For the 8's at least you should be able to do better then 360/pair.

I got mine from JSCSpeed.

I also the the BC 272. I concur with gsrboi80 comments on these cams. Check out Horsepower Freaks. I believe they have them for around $330.

Considering the name Crower, is there any relation? Ive been looking for any hint of relation between Crower and Brian Crower products. It seems a little to coincidental....

If it is one and the same, you can dang well guarantee that they products are top notch.

just read the briancrower.com website, and its an offspring of crower apparently. Considering how awesome Crower products are, you can't go wrong with quality.

Just let me add a bit of clarification....I am referring to the quality of the products, which I, along with many, regard as top notch. The performance, I can't state....as for the cams that is. Do some research before committing.

Just the same, I believe the stroker kit they make is identical to the one crower was selling under the mother company, which was in part developed with RC Developments whose evo made 1,088 horsepower ( I think....dont hold me to that)

I just have seen crower parts in many vehicles take a right beating and keep asking for me...so yes, I would say they're fantastic.

I have the 272/272 version of these cams, and so far I am pleased. I will be getting tuned and dynoed this Thursday at AMS, so we'll see where I am power wise. So far, the idle is not much different than stock, and even at 15 psi of boost, they are making more power than stock.

I got them from Maperformance. Good people to deal with, great prices. http://www.maperformance.com/store/home.php?cat=431
