Another high flow cat question

I have an 05 MR and i'm am going to be fabricating an exhaust system and I want to run a high flow cat. I live in the Atlanta, GA area so their are emissions laws. Does anyone know if I can still pass emissions with a vibrant performance high flow cat whether it be the ceramic or metal core cats. Thanks you for any help.

Do they actually run a sniffer on OBD II cars? In a lot of states I know they don't fail you unless you have a check engine light on.
