buschur cast manifold vs. tubular manifold eg. full race, ams...

Geez man, you of all people! Be more specific, are we talking big turbo manifold or stock?
I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you mean for a big turbo setup, and IMHO it all comes down to what the car is used for. If it's an all-out drag machine, a tubular manifold is the way to go. If you DD or even road race the car, the buschur cast mani is the best option IMHO. Its almost stock looking under the hood, and will be reliable for years to come. Also, the turbine housing supplied with the buschur kit is a nice mix of streetability vs. power for whatever turbo you choose.

these are all top quality manifolds, not too worried about the durability
i like the stealth like mani of buschur...but how does it flow compared to the tube manis?
this kit i'm looking at:

Hey smoked. Long time no see!!! How ya been?
Otherwise, cast manifolds were tested by Dave Buschur. he has a reproduced (i think) ported and polished stock style manifold that he uses on a lot of the cars he builds IIRC.
He also has tube manifolds but stands by the cast manifold.
He tested a few tube manifolds with the identical setup from test to test, and the only one to make equal or MORE power was the Full Race stock turbo replacement manifold...
The benefit of a cast manifold=if you drive you car daily and need something to last, cast iron will last almost forever without any issues. Tube manifolds, no matter how well they are built, just cant seem to withstand the high pressure and high heat, which put together, break down the metal in the tube manifolds. The cast manifolds just seem to resist this better...I don't know my metallurgy well enough to explain why, I just know that it does.
There is actually a manifold I am looking for from this thread.

It looks like the mitsu WRC, so I doubt I will be able to find it, but there IS a company that a guy from NZ was using for a project that either makes this manifold or something really close to it.
