TB boost leak
Hey I finaly got a hold of a boost leak tester, to test out my new innercooler setup ( bushur deleux core setup) on my evo 8 and i found that i had about 5 boost leaks, one on the upper innercooler pipe, one on the lower innercooler pipe, one im my core, one on a vac line, and one comming out of my throttle body shaft. its a smaller leak, but it goes away when you apply some pressure to the pully )where the cable connects) twards the drivers side of the car. i was wondering if there were any rebuild kits to seal that shaft?>?>? It is a smaller leak and i fixed the rest, just i know they add up. trying to be thurough.

www.machv.com sells the new seals you need. They are $10. Its actually a very common leak. There is a big thread on it somewhere. They are relatively easy to install as well. Id worry even more about fixing those other leaks, especially the one in the FMIC core.

Make sure you do the boost leak test while holding the throttle open.
No car will EVER make full boost when the throttle is closed. So why check for boost leaks that way?
I suspect many people are replacing their TB seals based on a misleading test method...
