Custom Turbo Project Turbo Selection?
Ok so im starting a custom turbo project. I need a turbo with a T3 flange and a 3inch 4 bolt outlet. Right now im looking at the GT3582R but kinda up for suggestions. I know we put a PT67 on my friends car and im looking for similar power output but a bit better spool. I currently cant make a ton of sense out off Precision Turbo's website as they have tons of new turbos but there are no specs and its listed as Coming Mid 2007. Anyway suggestions welcomed! thanks....

yes you are correct. I didnt wanna do it as a pre fabbed kit. Interested to see what i can do with a bunch of pieced together items. I have already purchased my Manifold and downpipe. I just require a turbo selection then all my lines etc etc. I put a RNR gt37R kit on a friends car so i know everything i need. Otherwise it would be quite foolish going into this blind.

On the twin scroll turbo doesnt that require a manifold where the number 1 and 2 runners are seperated from runners 3 and 4? If thats the case this isnt an option as my manifold isnt made in this fashion

yeah stock valve train for now but this isnt an overnight project and i plan to build the engine completely along the way. Planning to do either a 2.3 or built 2.0 havent quite decided as of yet. Anyway i wont speak of the exhaust manifold as i dont wanna be flamed.... has revisions for a 44mm wastegate. 50mm runners. I feel like the manifold will perform well....

Bump since i got this thread moved from Evo Advanced. Now im really starting to think about a 3076 as i dont intend on a full build any time soon and i still want the ability to auto-x and other things that a long spool will cause issue's with.... Anyway suggestions?

I just finished up a kit i built myself.
dnp t3 manifold
gt3076r (.82)
turbonetics wastegate
water and oil lines from extremepsi.com
I started with an atp v band downpipe and quickly found out that having one made is the best way.
I did all this for under 2k
car feels great, spool up is lighting fast( i use to have a t4 turbo kit before)
"no i haven't got it dynoed yet"
i don't think it will make as much as my old setup but the power band is much better
