Nice numbers, but I'd rather see before and after on stock cams and some track times. Everyone knows everyones dynos pretty much read differently.

duhh I should have realized that

I tried the -3, -1 as suggested by TedB on my EVO 8 and felt a loss in low end and mid range power....., so back to my original +2, 0 I went.....

Interesting test!

I assume you've installed an adjustable cam gear on your exhaust cam (since this is a IX) and made these adjustments with no other changes?

So I guess you left it at -2. Does it drive any differently with this configuration?

hey man... did you ever try the 0 setting ? Im curious to see if the cam gear does anything at all. Thats why i was hoping you'd try 0. Maybe TTP can chime in here and give us there opinion. Im sure they have dyno'd other cars with your setup or similar with no cam gears....

TTP... what you think ?

It seems like your TQ falls off really fast once it hits

No other changes were made. The has LOTS of tq and top end. Torque hits alot harder now

yes i tried it at 0 and i lost 10wtq . It worked best at -2. The tq falls of bc boost now drops alot faster since i put the cams in. Remember that these cams are aggresive and second of all Evo IXs have a lot harder time holding boost due to the MIVEC

Is your MIVEC map stock? If not, could you post it?

i hold boost fine, have always held boost fine. Maybe its time for you to go to an EBC. I pretty much would hold boost at 23.5 or 24 and not fall below 22 or 23 till redline... now that i have cams and the turbo, i hold 24 till redline pretty much... not much taper if any.

Thanks for the info about the cam gear, so basically everyone can assume that getting an exhaust cam gear set to -2 can yield better results than just a stock one.
