Did I put the right grade oil in my 9? I have valve ticking at idle after the change.

Did I put the right grade oil in my 9? I have valve ticking at idle after the change.
Hey all...
I had to drain my oil the other night while working on my 2006 IX. I called up the dealership and the gentleman said that he "thinks" they put 5W-30 Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil in the car. I usually bring the car for oil changes at the particular dealership that I called, so I went and purchased 5W-30 and filled her up.
Ever since then, I have very audible valve ticking at lower RPM's at idle. My car is cammed and the idle goes up and down a little and when it goes lower, sometimes loud valve ticking is present. It does not do it when I am driving, only SOMETIMES at lower RPM idling.
What grade Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil does the dealership use when they change our oil? I want to know if I put the right oil in because this ticking started after the oil change. Does 5W-30 sound right? I filled her up and the oil level was about a fifth of an inch over the top hash line when cold. Could that be the problem?
Thanks!

Yeah the 5W-30 is a blue label, not green.
Are you guys sure that the 10W-30 is what the dealerships use? I will go switch it out today if that will fix the problem. Maybe the oil is too thin and causing the ticking...

Had those issues before...I never use too thin of an oil in the evo... at least a 10W-40 or a 15W 50. Doesn't hurt running slightly thicker oil in an evo. tried a very thin oil before and the motor ticked immediately. I quickly replaced it.

wow, a thread for oil..lol, I dont know and dont think cars on the east coast are different then cars here, but I use 5w-30 mobil 1. No where does it say 10w-30 on my car. But I could be wrong, very wrong..lol.
Leave that grade in your car. The weather never gets past 5 degrees anyways. Since your car is fairly new, it'll be just fine.
I have a question for all your know it alls..What is the "W" on those SAE 5"w"-30s and 20"w"-50s?
