BTW just to make sure. This was obviously caused by a leaking seal and running low on fluid. I don't any modifications in that area, but do have some engine work (cams, ecu, I/E piping intercooler...) so I would assume any power train items are no longer under warranty.
So basically this is the post of me confirming what I already know

Try Kar King Auto. They sell rebuilt T/C's and i bought mine from them. They also have a 90 day warranty that they do in fact, honor. My first one i got from them was whining when i put it in, i called and talked to George there and he got UPS out to my house to pick up the bad one and shipped me a new one. The only out of pocket expense was shipping on the second TC. I think their prices are about the best too. I got mine for $1200 shipped. Like i said its rebuilt, but the price is hard to beat.

If you go with Shep or TRE you wont have to worry about it whining when you put it in.

Why would you go with Kar King Auto? They arent proven and they sent you out a bad remanufactured T-Case. It doesnt matter that they replaced it, it should have been right the first time.

I agree with you on that one, I was just suggesting it on account of the fact that they did make amends with the bad one. And secondly, some people (such as myself) arent quite able to fork over the cash for Shep or TRE. But like i said, i do agree that it should have been right the first time around.
