Wondering if anyone knew if the Samco Evo 8 Turbo hose kit will fit the EVO 9?I just bought a Turbo hose set and the Samco radiator hose kit off of ebay for $200 for both new.The radiator hose kit is for the 9 but the Turbo hose kit is for the 8.The 9 turbo hose kit has 7 hoses and the 8 turbo hose kit has 6.I noticed the difference after I had already paid.I guess I should of paid better attention!Does anyone know which one is missing?Thanks!

No idea, I'd look at pic's on lancershop or gruppe's, they have good pic's.

Just looked at the pics.I have an idea where the 6 hoses will go.Looks like everything should fit assuming that all the factory intercooler piping for the 8 and 9 are the same.Still don't know where the hell the 7th hose would go for the 9 kit.Is the hose that connects the intercooler pipe to the turbo the same size on the 8 and 9?

I looked to. I think you might have an ebay missprint. Gruppe's counts six.
LICP=====2 hoses
UICP=====3 hoses
diverter valve==1 hose
6 hoses total

Well if you look at sporthoses.com they list the EVO 9 kit with 7 hoses and the EVO 8 kit with 6.Also the part#for the EVO 9 Turbo Hose kit is TCS299 and the Turbo Hose kit for the EVO 8 is TCS167 which is the one that was pictured in the auction I got the hoses on ebay.Im thinkin it may be 2 Hoses for the UICP(1 hose on that connects the stock uicp to the TB,1 hose that connects the OEM uicp to the lower OEM licp)2 Hoses( 1 hose to connect the drivers side licp to the intercooler and 1 hose to connect the passenger side licp to the intercooler)and 1 hose from the passenger side licp to the turbo)and 1 hose for the diverter valve.

I just noticed on sporthoses.com that the EVO 8 kit is listed for the US Spec 8 and the EVO 9 kit does not.Im wondering if the JDM and other Foreign market EVO's have another hose?

I am one who purchased the EVO 9 Samco 7 hose kit and do not know where the 7th hose is to go. Can anyone who has purchased the kit please let us know? Here is a post where I had asked and still have not received a response and since this thread looks like it is more geared to the question I wanted to see if anyone could clear up the subject for the rest of us.

ssg_petty; not sure what you meant to type. Are you also inquiring what it is for or did you know what the 7th hose belonged to? The hose part number is TB1571.

I was saying the samco hoses I have on my car, came from my friends VIII. So it fit. Honestly I'm not sure what the seventh hose goes to. Ill check it out and get back to you. If you have a picture of the seventh hose, I might can tell you where it goes. I cant find the hose with the part number. If its the part I think it is, it is the lower radiator hose.
