Both will hold but only one of those will shift at high rpms. OVer 8000k rpm.

There is a lock out issue on some of the single plate ACT's. I like it a lot but they do lock out.

Maybe I am just lucky, but my ACT XTSS has only locked me out once and that was before I did the SS clutch line, removed the restrictor, and adjusted the clutch. I don't know which one helped the most as I did all three at once. Then again I have never shifted above 8000 RPMs.

Less than $500.00 ACT, more than $500.00 Exedy. Two different clutches, both are good and effective.

Exedy Twin Cera/metallic will make you hate a normal drive. Hope it's your weekender!

But hey, this debate is years old. Learn from experience --- I paid 1200 for an Exedy twin --- hated life with it --- and now I've got an ACT --- no issues.

Could be the other way around for you, or not.

Good luck!
