All I changed since the BR dyno was to put much heavier street wheels on in an effort to get more traction onm the dyno - it was spinning real badly though

It will be a few weeks till I am ready to make more power the fuel cell blader needs to be modified with a new pick up which will take a week to 10 days - I will send it out monday after the race this weekend whcih I will run on low boost

Dude Al your blow-off valve action is out of control!!! It looks like water vapor or nitrous oxide purging out of it!!! Your car is an absolute animal. We are expecting to see some 8's soon from the Dynoflash EVO....

Al, would your EVO at this power level keep up with that 600hp Z06 you are driving on YouTube? I know its a dumb question, but you were having the time of your life driving that Vette. You are absolutely hilarious in that video. Keep the vids commin bro!

That doesn't make sense. If the engine is turning 9000 rpms at 100 mph, 60 mph would be 5400 rpms.

I noticed that to.
At 60 MPH it's 83.333333 RPM per MPH and
At 100 MPH it's 90 RPM per MPH
must be the tires shrinking?
No good RPM input = no good HP reading.
A dyno only tells you torque and then the HP is calculated from RPM.

This Evo would clean the clocks on the road of any car I know - however it you are talking 200 mph - 240 moh racing the vette may be the better choice

My estimations of the rpm vs speed in 3rg gear are what I pull out of my head when tuning cars with bad tach signals and the tach goes out
Its not exactly on point at each rpm but its close.
When I get the car back on the dyno in a couple of weeks I will sort a way to hook up the tach signal and see what difference it has on the power reading

What happend was that water got into the intake tune on the rain filled trip back from ohio and I was venting it out by building boost and opening the BOV

After owning some high speed cars which included a Rentech Sl600, NSX and a 1991 BMW M5 I have no delusions about the high speed capacity of the Evo.
Driving at 200 mph in the SL600 is like driving at 100 in an Evo. The german cars are engineered to crusie the autobaun and it is tough to find better cars to use for street driving at those speeds. I remember as the speed increased the SL600 would lower down to the tarmac and the steering would get tighter and with 6 liters of easy working n/a power plant running at 200 mph can be done for hours.
The NSX for example is so low and it cuts through the air so well it seems to love high speeds. In fact I sold it because I was convinced I was going to kill myself in that aluminum tin can of a car.
I recall driving accross Mexico in my M5 at 175 mph on a two lane country road filled with bumps and sand and thinking to myself this is like flying a plane over the tarmac. The M5 suspension is so well engineered it just eats up rough roads and gives you really good control even at maximum velocity. I covered 1,1000 miles in 8 hours and got out of the car totally refreshed and ready to have a drink at the ocean side.
While the Evo has huge advantages in traction and in cornering and in ease of modification, its basic shape and suspension do not make it a really good high speed runner IMHO.
I just do not have that level of control and comfort in an Evo at higher speeds. I still love and prefer the Evo but I know that the german machines have the edge at high speeds.
As for the vette - there is no doubt that the Z-06 is one of the best high speed sports cars ever built and would run very well at 200 mph - although I have not tested it at those speeds myself.
