From what I understand, the Evo is pretty stable at high speeds. But, I hear what you're saying.

I love my Evo but it never gave me a great confident feeling at 150 mph plus

Maybe I am just growing older and more sane ?

Yea I agree with Al for once, the EVO (in stock turbo form) is meant to be a 0-100 car. I have more fun in the lower gears than I do in the upper ones and it definately doesn't feel like it likes to cruise at 130+ let alone 150. All the wind hitting the car sounds like my dads 66 Ford pickup truck! It's like trying to move a square box down the road!

150 mph feels ok on a smooth road... Even the time i hit 165 it was perfectly stable, but i was at about 7000 rpm in my MR, so I didnt keep it there for long. If the road wasnt as smooth it may have been sketchy, but not so bad... maybe that extra thing they put on the MR wing actually does help probably not much

The car has reached the point where when I am on the boost I am hoping that some part does not fly through the floor pan and hit my nuts

Sanity is a subjective term, Al.

This Evo doesn't qualify for the word "Sane".
