968 AWD WHP ! Dyno Flash Evo with Buschur Power - (Video)

Yesterday I re-dynoed my Evo at ICS Performance's AWD Dyno Jet 424X dyno in an attempt to crack 1,000 whp

I basically ran out of fuel but the Buschur Engine was running like a clock

Thanks To Buschur Racing for making some great motors

Time for a bigger fuel pump and more boost to try and reach that 1,000 mark

Attached here is the link to the video of all the action - you can see the dyno fan practically gets blown over by the velocity of the exhuast

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7eiQmw0A9c

Oh happy days

We do that as with a race car it is easier to just not hook up the tach signal

Most race cars have COP ignitions and are very hard to get a tach pick up on

100 mph = 9,000 rpms

90 mph = 8,000

80 mph = 7,000

70 mph = 6,000

60 mph = 5,000

Al

I'm sure that's not an exact translation... Next time if you get the chance we would like to see it with the TACH connected.

At any rate, that car is just insane! It sounds mean as hell, it looks mean as hell, and it even looked like the car wanted to come off the dyno!

Q - Hey Al, what do most dyno's max out at?
Q - And how much power are the straps rated for?
Q - One final question - your conversion - Is this true for all Evo's or just yours? I would assume that at certain RPM's all cars have a different mph.

Every dyno is different - this one reads to 1200 whp

Q - And how much power are the straps rated for?

No idea - they had a 1025 WHP BMW on here so far with no problems

3rd gear on a Evo 8 with standard sized tires

One thing that amazes me frankly is how smoothly and evenly it runs on the dyno - its really an aamzing machine and the engine is running like a sewing machine thanks to Buschur Racing
