Is ACD worth it?
I am about to buy a Evo, but i dont know if i should get the cheaper 2003 or spend a few thousand more for a 2005 with ACD. Does ACD have that much of an advantage over non ACD evo's. The AMS evo is one of the fastest time attack cars and it is a 2003. Any input would be much appreciated.

Search for 10.5 hotsides for sell. They don't last unpurchased. It is a very popular upgrade for 03 & 04 owners. I purchased a mint 03 and I'm happy, but 05 and EVO IX make more power easier. Think budget and what you want the car for, that should help you make a choice. Beware, once you get use to the power, you'll want to upgrade. Think of a path and you'll save $$$$ in the long run. Can't go wrong with 05, but if you intend to build a motor and marry it to a GT35r or similar than that's a different story. The AMS EVO is built so don't even think about the year it was made because that thing is a monster. The money saved with 03 might get you there quicker. Don't forget supporting mods though.

I am indending to rally-x, auto-x and mainly road coarses. I guess handeling is my main concern. I had mentioned the AMS time attack EVO, to show that even not having ACD, it has athe ability to murder a lot of other unlimited AWD'S.
