do race high flow cats still smell?

so are u saying the high flow cat will smell more than a testpipe?

i just installed my perrin hfc a couple days ago. the CEL comes on every 40 miles and i have to reset the ecu. i'm gonna have to try to do the CEL fix.

haha.

i heard that with certain exhausts that you cant smell the testpipe smell inside the cabin.

for example with the hks carbon ti

I'm saying the rotten eggs smell comes from a combination of a cat with nickel and gas with too much sulfur. A test pipe will provide you with the raw exhaust smell everyone is familiar with. Which is better is up to you.

should i just go wtih a testpipe?

im going with the hks carbon ti so with the huge *** resonator and the muffler of the hks carbon ti, it shouldnt smell in the cabin and the noise shouldnt be loud right?

I have the Apexi Super Catalyzer it's 130 cpsi
It smells in the morning when I turn her on but once it warms up it goes away.

anyone know the cpsi of perrin?

and is it more high flow if its less cpsi?

it was a good read. but on evos theres a much bigger difference lol.

hmmm.

looking at those pictures, makes me wonder if the high flow cat robs more and more power as time passes by and it gets clogged

i thought my car stank more when I had the OEM exhaust...
or are you speaking of the unburnt gas smell
