do race high flow cats still smell?

nope, not yet. i am waiting for a few more parts before i invest in a dyno tune. right now i just have a flash from CBRD. it's for their STU car, so i am still on stock boost pressure, but their shop car with similar mods and the same ecu map makes 285 - 295whp on their mustang dyno depending on air temp/humidity.

i've been told by a couple of my friends that have test pipes that they make a noticeable difference, but don't want to have deal with the smell or finding a lenient emissions inspector.

if i ever decide to make the IX strictly a race car though, the first that is coming off is that cat.


-edit- another reason i chose to stick with a cat is because the STU class for autocross requires the car to have a catalytic converter
