Have you seen my 4th gear?

I lost it somewhere on the highway. One second it was there, the next second it was gone.

Guess I'll be getting a 5 speed from Shepherd now.

Another lost 4th gear from the MR 6-speed. Believe me, its a blessing in disguise. You will love the new 5-speed

same thing happened to my MR. i lost 3rd and 4th.... so i went with the 5 speed from shep!!

I wonder how all the Euro spec evos that only come with six speeds do when this happens, I mean it must be like a everyday thing over there.

All I can say is OOOOUUUUUUCHHHHH. I am glad I got a 5 speed Evo. I had a feeling that the 6 speed was a marketing gimmick from Mitsu to compete with the STI. When I found out that Aisin built the tranny, I had a feeling that it was a bad design. This same company built the QR25DE engine for Nissan to replace the SR20DE in the SE-R. That engine has been a disaster. My brother replaced his short block @ 36K on his 02 SE-R.
