Whoever adds this Ntercooler system and dyno tests it, would be great to see the results. The Ntercooler system sells for $349.95 through JC Whitney.

Ah. Then perhaps we'll just wait until JC Whitney dyno-tests it.

Any compressed-gas liquid tank needs to be handled and filled with care. They should be left with some space inside for thermal expansion. If over-filled with liquid, they can indeed explode from expansion if they get warmer, since liquid is effectively non-compressable. Any good nitrous bottle will have a pop-off safety valve incorporated in it.

Compressed air (like from an air compressor) is usually in gaseous form, not liquid. If it was compressed enough to be liquid, I wouldn't imagine it would be any cheaper than CO2. Liquid CO2 is really cheap!

Dan speaks much truth. Emphasis on "Any compressed-gas liquid tank needs to be handled and filled with care.", seriously. Any compressed gas can be dangerous. The compression itself is creating the explosive potential. The type and state of repair of any container used for compressed gas is pretty heavily regulated (as it should be) by federal laws. If you want cheap CO2, you can go to a welding supply shop. They will be able to supply you with a variety of inert gasses in containers that have been tested and certified. Usually you can just drop off your empty tank and pick up a filled one for cheap.
