Question for those spraying NOS
I can't switch between maps. I can't have a nitrous free map. Its one or the other. I was just wondering if I could run my nitrous map even when I wasn't spraying. That way when I did want to spray I would be safe because that map would already be loaded on my ecu.
My mods are 280s, meth, 20g and everything that is supposed to go along with it. I am trying to see if I can get a tune for a 50 shot and run that map all the time, but be safe to spray when I had to also. I figured I would set my boost to 30-32psi on meth and once I sprayed I would be a little higher and have the added bonus of the 50 shot.
Thanks

Doesn't sound like you've ever used nitrous, because you call it "NOS" and because you think you'll RAISE boost with nitrous when you'd actually lower it. It is extremely unsafe to run nitrous if you don't know what you're doing, and trying to skimp on the tuning by running the same tune for both is an awful idea.
Why can't you swap maps? If you have the stock ECU, then it's extremely cheap and simple.

you guys are mean lol.
It is possible to have two maps like warrtalon stated; you'll just have to load them to your ECU each time you decide to switch between your "power-adders".
I'm sure member Ultimate CC can shine some light on you as I believe he used meth and nitrous together, I might be wrong though.

Some of you guys are well....whatever. Its actually safer to run meth and NO2 as long as your not raising the boost level. Its just like running race gas. Meth by its self is cool because you can turn the boost up. NO2 is ok by its self but it can blow up if not done safely.....Safely is running it with meth.

i do it on the stock ecu.. yea but when youre not spraying ull sacrifice some power because some timing will be taking out, but when u do spray oh man its a whole new ball game, just watch your EGT's

Also, I wasn't planning on upping the boost with nitrous, I just heard it made your boost go up when you did spray, that is why timing had to be retarded.

Why is it that if someone uses the word "NOS" they are new or are stupid. Please inform me of this new rule where we can't shorten a word cause it doesn't sound cool as Nitrious. NOS is an abbreviation of it so it is fair to use. Do we all have to raise our speaking levels up to that of evo owners and not of Honda ricer levels.
