Vacuum Reading...
EDIT: Problem was solved, it was a bad gauge
Ive been reading that the Evo should be idling at -17 to -20 with the stock cams, but mine is idling at -12? Is somethign wrong with my boost?
I am using an Evil Motorsports Boost gauge as well , but I have the Prosport Electric boost coming in tomorrow so Im wondering if maybe its just a very inaccurate gauge?

no, your vacuum is reading just fine. With cams, the overlap, lift, etc. will cause you to lose some vacuum. If you very slightly press on the gas pedal you'll see that the vacuum goes up to about 17, then goes towards 0 like it should.

i kinda think its a faulty gauge because it never reads below -12 actually
like i said in the first post i have a new gauge coming in so ill see if that changes anything

id check for a vacuum leak... w/ AC off my 9 idles at -20. w/ AC ON it idles around -15-16. (stock cams of course) mentioning because ur post appears to say you are still on stock cams... also im running a TTP flash too, so figure the timing/fuel at idle is similar...
