Does anyone have any info about where to get a Creader now? I tried to go to the ebay link Ted B posted on the first page but the item is no longer for sale. My car has started to throw the dreaded P0300 while cruising after changing my timing belt.

Some simple checks to do, check the resistance on your plug wires, change your plugs, and gap them properly. Make sure there isn't any oil in the wires, and no corrosion where they connect to the coilpacks.
Also check the resistance on your injectors.
Remove the cam sensor plate by the thermostat housing and make sure there is no oil in there. IF there is, pull out the cam sensor and clean it, and clean all the oil out of the chamber it sits in.
If you did your timing belt and you got a p0300, you probably did something wrong. Did you clean your CAS when you had everything apart?
p0300 IMO should be fixed, and shouldn't be overlooked if you want a reliable strong running engine.

I totally agree with you and I already changed the plugs and am planning to check the wires and coils packs as well as clean the injectors. The only thing is, as others have mentioned, the p0300 seems to in and of itself cause the problems (ie the shudder during cruising).
