Yup, thats the thing with the whole 30vs35R debate.
30R makes gobs more tq down low, however the 35R keeps it pulling till redline. I make peak power at redline pretty much, and peak tq at about 5500.
The difference between the 35R and 30R on pumpgas is about 50 whp at peak, and only about 10 ftlbs less tq at redline vs loosing nearly 200 ftlbs wiht the 30R.
The 30R is significantly quicker/more powerfull at lower RPMS but once your taking it to redline the 35R just pisses all over the 30r.

we can happily supply you a single scroll 3076R, in fact after some test results we just saw, im confident our single scroll setups will outperform most of the other "standard" setups out there.
We've made some of the best single scroll setups for years, very few single scroll turbo kits will outperform ours. Our twinscroll kits are simply next level -- they are capable of more performance and offer tremendous versatility You can run a single scroll turbo on our twinscroll setup and it will be an efficient single scroll. You can run a twinscroll turbo on our twinscroll setup and get the benefits/gains of the twinscroll. You can run a twinscroll 30R, or 35R, and there are even some options that should be available in a few months for twinscroll 50 trims.
if you are interested in part-throttle response, twinscroll is what you want. A stroker will have a fat powerband, but response is ultimately dictated by turbine efficiency, and that is where twinscroll excels (because the turbine has to power the compressor)
its best to have an efficient turbo and manifold design, in conjunction with an efficient intercooler and charge pipe layout, along with a great fuel system and good tune, along with a good bottom end... it ALL matters. everything works together as a system, you cant pick and choose parts, you need to integrate them to work together.
The best thing you could probably do is ask the people who have experience with the twinscroll 30R.
