Fullrace Twinscroll Kit or 2.3L Stroker?
Ok so twinscrolls are the new hot topic and are amazing based on firsthand account. I am looking for a GT3076R kit, but I need to decide between:
1. One of the many standard proven GT3076R turbokits on the market + 2.3 stroker
OR
2. Full-Race twinscroll GT3076R kit
I am interested in spool and part-throttle responsiveness. Car is an 03 Evo, mostly driven on the street with some circuit and autocross. Not so much drag. I've heard the twinscroll kits described as "having the spool of a 2.3 on a 2.0", but if it came down to it....what would be better? Is it better to spool quicker due to more displacement, or thru turbo and manifold design?
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

Do the 30R+ stroker. You get all the benefits if not better results with that than the 2.0 and 30R, plus you have a built motor which will take 30 psi much better than stock internals.
Also that 2.3 can also spool up any other larger turbo quicker than a twin scroll.
My 2.3+30R made 490 480 at 30 psi on c16, peak tq at 4800 rpms.

We've made some of the best single scroll setups for years, very few single scroll turbo kits will outperform ours. Our twinscroll kits are simply next level -- they are capable of more performance and offer tremendous versatility You can run a single scroll turbo on our twinscroll setup and it will be an efficient single scroll. You can run a twinscroll turbo on our twinscroll setup and get the benefits/gains of the twinscroll. You can run a twinscroll 30R, or 35R, and there are even some options that should be available in a few months for twinscroll 50 trims.
if you are interested in part-throttle response, twinscroll is what you want. A stroker will have a fat powerband, but response is ultimately dictated by turbine efficiency, and that is where twinscroll excels (because the turbine has to power the compressor)
The best thing you could probably do is ask the people who have experience with the twinscroll 30R.

Mine/your 30R will start to run out of steam/efficiency at the RPMS where more power would be made. You will increase tq a lot and HP by a little when you crank up the boost from where you are now.
Go and prove me wrong please

The difference between 25 and 30 psi on a 30R is a lot less than 25 and 30 on a bigger turbo.
