Perrin Evo Intake hose (hard silicon pipe) question.

I just purchased the Perrin hard silicon intake pipe that runs from the airbox to the turbo. I was wondering if you guys believe that it will contract when it the car goes into vaccum. I spent 200 dollars on it at the Vegas meet and I just want to be sure that it will ok to put on my car. My good friend and tuner Alan assured me that it would be fine and so did the good people at Perrin but I just wanted to get a second opinion. Please leave some input so I can put my mind to rest. The pipe is made out of hard silicon that you can squeeze a little bit with your hand. Anyone?

I have no experience with this on an evolution, but my friends sti had a perrin intake hose and it would collapse, he had to have a shop design a bracket to keep it from doing so.
It will probly be fine, but i do suggest making sure.

Thanks bro! So the Samco version of the turbo-intake pipe is the same as the Perrin? If you think its fine than I'm relieved hahaha.

I think you mistaken it for the boost pipe (the one that go from the bottom IC pipe to the throttle body).

Back to the topic, I have the same intake (the whole system, not just the pipe) and it's works great. Make a whole 10 whp over the Injen intake.
