Company - tensile strength - price

AMS/TMS =210,000 - 260,000 ~$249
ARP = 190,000 ~$110
ARP L19 = 230,000 - 260,000 ~$299
Cosworth = 200,000 ~$175
Cosworth new head studs = 260,000 (estimated cost of 5% increase over current price -release date 30-45 days) ~$190
Magnus =? ~$375

I may just end up going with the AMS/TMS ...group buy or EvoM discount?

Thanks all

Rob
Good breakdown. We had this discussion on Talk a while ago. That's when the ARP L19's came about.

If you're looking for something tailored to your application, I'd choose A1 Technologies. They manufacturer fasteners for F1, Champ car and a few other racing organizations you might have heard of.

Good discussion. So What I get so far is that sealing capabilities are improved whn you o-ring the block. Very good to know!

So are the Cosworth's the same as the L19 pretty much?

The new cosworths (still yet to be released) are rated from 230,000 to 260,000 psi.

Still looking for the best price.

I like the L19s for anything over 600hp. $300 for great piece of mind is a steal in my book. In my years working with the 4G63 I have seen all of 3 sets of ARP'S with real issues.

L19 is listed as $1400 for a set (MSRP)

You can get for about $300 a set thats if the vendors ordered more than 10 sets to stock.
