Nice. Alot of room left then. You should have no problem reaching your goal. Have you talked to VP about making something with more oct. then VP import. Im sure they can mix up a blend for your needs and goals.

Some of the things we are doing this winter to reduce weight is
1) make the front of the car Tube
2) No abs and brake booster. Going to count on my parachute to stop me
3) Take out the sound deadening
4) Put the AMS Carbon fiber roof in
5) Take out a ton of sheet metal
6) There is 3 layers of firewall take out 2 layers
7) Motorcycle brakes in the rear
8) Lexon windows
9) Remove the spray on coating under the car
10) Lose 35 lbs

Edit: Looking at your list, I'm reminded of the SCC (?) project car from a few years ago, where they ended up with a frame and an engine.

Paul, what about a liquid to air intercooler, or even a intercooler chiller?
I mean, 50+ psi is sure to have inlet temps pretty high...anything to lower that should theoretically increase power without increasing the chance of blowing up...

"I will give you an example, so we are clear this isn't just Paul. My good friend Al Friedman, for the last year or more I have heard Al complain about "someone else" being SO light and that's why they are kicking his butt. I have told Al countless times to either gut the car and make it light or just shut up, we all own race cars and non of these cars are worthy of street use or even being called EVo's at this point. An EVO is a great handling, comfortable, world class stopping car that can haul 5 adults around. A small 4 door with one/two seats, tiny brakes, no exhaust, no air bags, no door beams etc., etc. are not worthy of being called a real EVO, so just gut the damn thing and shut up and run it. I tell one of my good friends this, so saying it to anyone else.....................should be fine."
i'm totally agree about the point he makes here.
