strange...

Buschur runs nearly 170mph, and high 8's in the quarter.. AMS is a few hundreths quicker, but BR is a few mph faster... why not trust BR?

Oh wiat.. i get it... is drag car is no where close to 1000HP, yet it goes way faster.... strange
Both there cars are much lighter than mine. I'm slowly gutting my full leather car out Im sure any combo Buschur or GSC cams would hit my goal. AMS ran there times on GSC 280s.

On my 157.50 pass i was breaking up all thru 4th gear which i have no doubt would have been 160s plus mph. When we went down to Vegas i knock off 2 rockers revving to 10,400rpms and didn't know it. So i haven't had a clean pass yet.
O well it gives me all winter to really focus on weight reduction
Ive been really only at drag racing for 1 year

I know talking to Martin at AMS they where at 940whp when they ran 168mph. Good ole power to weight ratio

Have you looked at the new BC 288's? These things are HUGE. Take a look at the lift too.

Just for the sake of arguments say you hit the 11 hundo without the manifold. What kind of gains are you looking at with it, maybe another 40-50whp. i figured of a BIG turbo setup it would be a hell of alot more than a 20g with the same.

When i do the math i get 1014 whp??
I think the person that originally calculated it put 8350 for the RPMS since you're not quite at 8400. If you used 8400 it would be 1015whp, but 8350 comes out right at 1009.

Paul needs to rent the track to himself so he can get the record breaking numbers, as thats what others seem to do.

They usually go on track rental days, which are rented out by 30-50 people so you can get alot of runs in without the typical 14-second open header Domestic *** pounders wasting your night.

I don't know of any current evo's or shop's that have rented a track JUST for themselves.

I will let everyone who already knows this answer, answer it for themselves as I dont want to start anything. My comment was made as a joke, and to be funny among friends...not for you to get it or to hate from it...Good day sir.
