Hi. I don't really know too much so bare with me. >_< I want to get a bov for my 03 evo 8.. I'm looking at the Greddy ones.. I like the Greddy Type S (which says its universal but have to get a recirc. kit??) but theres no kit to install it like the Greddy Type RS.. is the type S better and would I be able to get the Type S bov for an evo?? Thanks a lot for answering this nooby question!

Most people will either ignore this question or tell you to search.

First off, it's good that you're trying to recirc, because VTA is not appropriate for our MAF setup.

Secondly, I'd suggest getting an Evo IX MR BOV, as it's metal and can hold 25-28psi without leaking. It's the best bang for your buck, at $100 or less.

I've seen the Greddy Type S recirced just by putting the vent side into the intake tube, so that may indeed work. You would need an Evo flange so it will fit the Upper IC hose.

Anyways, I love how my stock IX BOV sounds with a K&N cone filter. If you're looking for performance & sound, try a IX BOV with a K&N cone, sounds fine to me.
