best "street" set-up?

honestly i think a 35R on stock block is actually pretty decent.a lot of people complain about it but im happy, now a 2.3L is gonna be a hell of a lot better.
even with stock block and 35R i still have beat high HP V8s and a viper here in hawaii.so stock block has been great to me,but i think its time to call JAM!

You need to do more research before you throw this much money into your car. You made a thread about getting AMS built 2.0 I think a month or two ago, i dont remember. It's obvious you still dont know what you want for your car. I think a 2.3 and 35r and an excellent choice for street. Just make sure that's what you really wanted. This is my opinion on your street set up.....
Port and polished head
valve springs and retainers
stroker (DTM, AMS, Buschur, Jam..) with 35r
AEM
i'm guessing you already have most of the supporting mods. Good luck!

Definetly dont skimp on head work, that will really help with the power delivery.
JAM redid our head (beyond what they typically over) this past time, and we went to a larger comp wheel on our 35R ams and actually spooled quicker.
now we are going to a custom .82 hotside on our setup and less aggressive cams to fatten up our powerband.
our 2.3 35R (gt67 comp wheel) made 499.7whp and 418wtq on our low reading mustang dyno (correct by 20% for dynojet).
