best "street" set-up?

ok wanting to know the best street set up out there.what works best with what?im running a GT35R now and may upgrade..but should i go ams 2.3L?Jam?cosworth head?ams head?

so basically wanting to know the best setup..im gonna upgrade to jun cams.but what 2.3L is best?head?and gonna go wiseco pistons oliver rods.

which intake manifold?im thinking AMS but is there a better one?

thanks, ive heard great things about Jam,and i love AMS but theres got to be a set up that is straight death on the street that isnt all AMS.

i dont mind buying all AMS,lol..just wondering.

goal is 500+awhp on pump only.

With a 2.3 and a good tune, you can definately do 500whp on a dynojet. Just go AMS, because someone has to build it if you go with any of the other companies.

Hey I'd like to know your complete current mods list please. Are you running a standalone?

Apparently your piggy bank is full. If it was me standing in your shoes and my pockets were replete, I'd keep it simple. I don't like too many variables as it leads to confusion. I would just have a 2.2L Cosworth crate motor delivered to the door of my beach house.

If you like to pick and choose, I would do JAM's premium build with their in-house cylinderhead porting. The AMS RR build looks good as well. And finally, you can't ever, really go wrong with a Buschur built motor. Ahh, decisions, decisions! It's tough

Doesn't necessarily matter where the parts come from especially with the above mentioned name brands.

Just a matter of getting the right combo of parts and a good tune

heres my mod list for you
ams gt35r,ext dump
1000cc inj
255pump
hks 272 cams
buschur uicp/ams licp
greddy ic(need a new one for my power level)
aem ems
ams dp,rsr exhaust
spec stg 2 clutch

22psi on straight 92 and 28psi on 117,could probably up it to 30

i was thinking AMS built 2.3L(wiseco,oliver)Jam,or cosworth head, and either keep my 35R or go 37R.

ill figure out injectors, and all the minor things later...just want to know the perfect street setup

block-?
head-?

is 500awhp on straight 92 asking to much?i dont wanna run alky just yet,ive seen to many people get there hearts broken with alky.so i wanna run just straight 92octane and be safe, not worrying about alky failing me etc.and i think over 500awhp on straight pump is better to say

actually was just on JAM website...looking into the stage II JAM 2.3L wiseco pistons, oliver rods,2.4L forged steel crankshaft

and the sage IV performance head.ported/polished,multi angle valve job, dual valve springs, tit. retainers, upgraded valve guide seals,1mm valves, etc etc

with all that and JUN 272s and either 35R or upgrade to 37R

I love the increased displacement that comes along with the 2.3L stroker kit...but I hate the lower redline associated with it. Why not just a built high revving 2.0L?

You should really ride in a 37 car first. If you really want a 37, then go with a built 2.0. If you want a 2.3 then stay with the 35R and send that turbo to FP for the HTA upgrade. 37R's are ok, but are slow and low power under the curve. Awesome when a 37 is in the boost, but before than, you may not like it with the lower rev limit of a 2.3.

BUT I know what the problem is. You've already spent time with the 35r, and want to step up. Being a prince for a week beats being a king for a day. That's the differnce between a 35R vs. a 37R.

What do you mean by street..? 3-4 block sprints.. highway rolls.. there is no such thing as a straight death set up.. you can think that way.. but you will eventually be surprised..

You can have that 35R and get waxed by something less laggy on the street going 4-5 blocks.. and his going to get you every time.. but on a roll run you will make him look STIFF..!! There is a way to get a bit of both world but it doesn't involve just turbos or motors alone.. well am done discussing the STREET SET UP.. as its intention uses are against evom policy..

LOL...intention uses?lol who doesnt have fun with there evo every now and then?did i post race videos?no i just want a well built, daily driven high hp pump evo.

what i mean by "street" set up is something that can be daily driven and will murder on the street.i dont live in a place with a track nor do i know when i move if i will so why build a "track" car?

i know a 2.0L can rev much higher but i like the torque and quick spool with a 2.3L. And ive seen very many 2.0L with 37R or 35R dyno way less than a 2.3L and ive seen 2.3L 35R dyno way higher then a 2.0L 37R.both tuned by AMS.if im on the street do i really need a high revving motor?ive always been told 2.0L for 1/4 and 2.3L for street.

now is over 500awhp on pump gas only asking to much out of a 35R?
what is another great street turbo?im only familiar with 50trim,30R,35R,37R.
