Id worry about those trap speeds, not the dyno.
i dont care about whp i really dont nor do i care about tq every track is different no?? every condition is different no??

it was 55 at e-town sat night it was windy that play a factor no?? say wind is going against you that would not help

i mean i did a good lunch maybe different shifting will help different rpm maybe??
i know i did fast shifting NOT powershifting

Sounds good to me!!!
I am sure with more aggressive shifting, it would mph more, but the cars all differ and you are on the stock clutch you may not be detecting all the slippage. Shift RPM plays a large role in the mph too because you can shift lower and actually increase mph on stock turbo cars.
Still damn good.

time is slow for the numbers. i dont have cams nor LICP and i went 12.3 and my shifting was slow. i could hit that with less mods.

Okay, you see thats where the problem is you say COULD do it, doesn't mean you can really do it. Until you do make that pass, please stop bench racing. Plus it was windy there towards the end of the night, which can easily play in the mph run.

I agree. I went quicker in my full weight 04 GSR w/SS&L with only mbc, K&N, MR BOV and a flash by yours truley. stock IC, IC pipes, stock turbo, stock cams, yada yada yada. pretty good 60' though, I wish I could have pulled a 1.6x on the stock clutch.

I don't think anyone here is criticizing your driving (your 1.6 60ft times speak for themselves ); but I have to agree with others on here that a bolt-on, cammed Evo IX should be trapping better than 112-113...

No need to get defensive, instead try to figure out what , if anything, is the cause. Yes, I have seen slow tracks and days where people are trapping like 3-4 mph less than they do elsewhere. Just make sure 1) no boost leaks 2) no knock at WOT (or ECU will pull timing) 3) you are shifting at the optimal point for your setup... 4) no bad tank of gas resulting in knock

thanks for posting your results

Your graph (I did the best I could to make out the numbers, so there are not exact, just close).

3,000rpms - 210wtq
4,000rpms - 330wtq
5,000rpms - 325wtq
6,000rpms - 300wtq
7,000rpms - 260wtq

My graph

3,000rpms - 250wtq
4,000rpms - 350wtq
5,000rpms - 325wtq
6,000rpms - 300wtq
7,000rpms - 255wtq

So from 5,000rpms on our torque curve is very similar if not identical, with you holding roughly 5wtq over me at 7,000 rpms. But at 3,000rpms I have 40wtq more and at 4,000rpms I have 20wtq more.

Regardless Stan you had good runs, a great looking car, and you can drive it. People are getting way too defensive in this thread. And yes wind will affect your mph and so will your shift points.
