Brian Crower IX cams, anyone?
Anyone using any of the 3 Brian Crower cams for IX's?
I'm looking at the street/strip cams BC0121 272's. http://www.briancrower.com/makes/mit...g63_evo9.shtml
I haven't seen anything on here about them for a IX and most people call them BC, so it's too short for searching.
Anyway they are cheap, $420 directly, even cheaper through my favorite vendor.
The person at BC that I talked through email with claimed 33hp gained, but didn't have a dyno sheet available to send me.
Anyone? How are they on VIII's ?

I know I know, the 288's are too big for me though.
I just want some opinions, like how do his 272's compare to other 272's...ie you know like Jun 272's are way more agressive than hks 272's etc

The lift is ridiculously low on the 272's I was considering these cams but have since opted to go with cosworth. Even though they are cheaper than the rest, it's not worth it to me if you're getting such low lift on the exhaust side. It's barely higher than the stock lift.

Not for a flash but too aggressive for stock valvetrain and stock turbo. It'll push the powerband way to far to take advantage of with the stock turbo. Just take a look at the cosworth test that Pure Tuning just performed on a mustang dyno. They made insane gains all through the powerband.
