SBR is a good budget kit with a cast mani that will never crack. They're a little more of a pain to fit, but produce good results. It should be quit a bit cheaper though, because it is cheaper new.

The SBR kit he want's to sell me is cheaper but do you think i'll get the results i'm looking for? I just want over 500WHP on a conservative tune without maxing the turbo out.

Overall are you happy with your turbo? I mean if you had to do it all over again would you make the same choice of turbo or choose a different turbo?[/QUOTE]
Absolutely the same turbo choice. I too was leary about the 'dreaded lag' and searched and researched for about six months before making up my mind. I went with the off the shelf Burchur Racing 35r cast manifold kit. [actually this is the kit that was on his car and went 9.xx @ 140+ mph in the quarter] Thanks David
As long you have the correct supporting mods, you will never regret rocking a 35r.
Your biggest problem will be exercising self control when behind the wheel

Sweet numbers in your sig. I was just told by someone that getting 500 or more WHP out of a buschur 35r is do-able but i would be pushing that turbo to the max. Is this true?

Not as far as i know. more than 600 can be had, again with the right components. When i got tuned there was another evo there with a BRGT35R with the tubular manifold. He hit 500HP with 26lbs of boost with alky and 93 oct. He could have had 600 easy with C16 and alky but unfortunately not having head studs prevented Al from going any further. Just call Buschur Racing, talk with Jarrod or someone else and they can more than answer any questions u may have. their number is 1-440-839-1900.
