A friend of mine put that clutch in his 375whp/360tq IX MR and I was jealous as hell until he broke his transfer case in half (literally). John at TRE told us the 6 speed is only rated at about 300ft/lbs of torque stock. So, I can't say I would recommend that clutch for a MR unless you release it real easy or never drag race. When the t-case got broke in half the driver said he didnt even dump it.. just a pretty quick release and that was it. We think it broke the center diff first and when it shattered the torque tube and that's when the ring gear broke the Transfer case in half. Now that's not to say you can't have more than 300ft/lbs of torque, just that the 6-speed probably doesnt have much tolerance for driveline shock and that twin certainly has capability to shock the driveline.

We are using a different type of oil for the warmer weather here I'm not exactly sure what type it is but it's used for the rally gearboxes out here who get some serious punishment. Ill get the exact name and viscosity and post it up, maybe an oil guru might have some input.. In anycase am going to go back to the original mitsu recommended oil unless i can order something that has proven to be the best or is strongly recommended for street and track racing.

Extra info: the oil the majority of the guys use here for their engine is 'Castrol Edge Sport 10w 60'
