Which turbo should I choose?
I am putting together a turbo kit and would like some opinions on what turbo to go with. This is a stock block IX with full bolt ons and meth. It is a T3 flanged manifold. Given It is a daily driven car and I am looking for semi decent spool up. I really dont have a specific hp goal but looking to be around 500awhp. Here are the turbo's I am thinking about.
-50 trim
-57 trim
-3076r
-35r
If anyone knows any other turbo that will fit my needs please let me know also.

Hmm... I'm a pretty large fan of the 35R, but the spool for 2.0 is a little on the high side. It'd run a little over 400-425 WHP on pump 93 and probably 500-550 on meth.
Personally, I think you're going to be surprised how much power this really is. My vote would be to ditch the T3 manifold, grab a ported stock one, and use a 20g green turbo. ~450 WHP on meth I believe. Great spool rate and lots of power. Look up youtube videos of a 20g green versus the 30R or 50 trim and see for yourself.
The other turbos on the list are very nice and you'll be a happy driver with any of them, but if this is your daily driver I'd be a little conservative on power. Green turbos are becoming the popular thing now it seems and I'll probably be on the bandwagon not long from now. I used to dream of a built 2.0 running a GT35R... still nice to imagine sometimes. lol
Hope that helps man.

I dunno id take the 35R im sticking with a 2.0. I want to run a 40R on a built short and long block and rev that ****er to 10k. Thats besides the point. Higher RPMs i heard are better for the 35R seeing you tach out lower with a stroked motor. Which dont get me wrong the stroker still makes the it spool faster and great power with what ever tune you go with but the say that it just does better up in the high rpm range.

If you want to just buy one turbo, get the 35R.If you don't mind buying a turbo now and then buying another one later, get the 3076R. Be warned though. If you buy the 3076R, you'll want the 35R later on. Just giving you fair warning.

Well if you get a built 2.0 or atleast some forged internals, I'd be wrong to NOT get a 35R. I just didn't know how far you're willing to go with your beast. I don't know if I could afford to do any full turbo kits on my income, so naturally I lean towards the 20Gs. lol
My view on the 2.0 vs 2.3 debate is simple: 2.3 makes boost 500 revs sooner, but the 2.0 revs 1k-2k higher and with that turbo, high revs are where the sweet spot is. Auto-X: 2.3L/Drag: 2.0L
