what a difference. i had read various post who rated the gain from 5whp up to 30whp so was somewhat skeptical.
while i have no data to support what gains there are yet it is like night and day especially regarding boost response and acceleration. now i hope my cel does not come on again..did the cel mechanical fix but had forgotten to reset the ecu. reset the ecu today by pulling the 20amp fuse so fingers crossed.

What HFC did you go from? What size? I tried both a 3" pipe and the Random Tech 3" Cat and noticed ZERO difference. I am extremely happy with the Random flow, and the acceleration and top speed were identical between the two. I'm running the Random Tech cat, and love it.

generic 3 inch magnaflow cat whether it "qualifies for hfc" or not i am not sure but it is this one 3inch version http://www.car-sound.com/02product/universal/mirror.asp. it was a hell of lot louder when i installed this cat over the stock so i assume it flowed much better

I had the Helix cat on mine before going to a test pipe and also noticed a drastic difference. The car picked up about 2lbs of boost up top and response was much better with the test pipe. The occasional flame out the pipe was a bonus.
