ive seen people hit up to 600hp with the 35r and ive seen ppl be only in the 390's to low 400's it all depends on your tune and how much psi your running. I just sold my 05 Evo to buy a 03 evo with the BR 35r and its the fastest stock block evo on record with just modding the clutch etc. Dont make fun of me selling the 05 for a 03 the 05 had alot of problems haha. also, with the stock turbo ive heard of people hitting 11's but why push it that hard when you can just get a bigger snail and be happier? lol

No dont worry about the noob question. I dont bash like some we were all there at some point so this is a free one But with you can use the gt35r with stock valvetrain but the power will drop off alittle in the upper RPM's but just do springs and retainers and go to some more agressive cams and you will be ok. As for the lag i hardly notice and will never go smaller then gt35r again. its a diffrent type of power that will blow your mind PM me and ill give you a link to my car stock block, stock cams and stock clutch against a 320HP car and i was running on wastegate boost in the video. you will be impressed

I normally get gas milage as good as any other 4 cyl car but a 15 sec spirited run would cost me about $4 of gas and 500ml of methyl alcohol

Vacuum leak perhaps, if your idle is sitting that high

wow, some of these mileage numbers are really low. I usually get around the 250mile mark on a tank of gas. And that is mostly local driving.

your millage is normal for an evo
and yes 350z
s get way better millage than we do
i average from 15-19mpg. 17mpg is overall life time average. the evo is a sub 20mpg car get use to it.

18mpg is great for the evo

well, guys the only thing I can suggest is that you all check and double check for boost leaks and exhaust leaks. I had a couple including one between the turbo inlet pipe and the compressors. You could see the build up on the outside of it. By no means did it turn my car into civic it did help improve my MPG. I see 220-240 again and this is mostly in town driving with the occasional romp.

I would be happy with that. Maybe I am not putting enough pressure into the system. When I heard the throttle body seals leaking it was only at 1-2 psi. At around pressure can I put into the system to hear leaks but not damage anything?
