oh yeah..obviously not for drag purposes hence "dyno event"
but yup i can imagine the powerband must blow..its not spooling until 5000 or so rpms maybe even later.
..lag is going to be a problem with any big turbo..but there is "ALS" for those deep pocketed crazy bastards...btw is very harmful, but if lag is really huge concern take ALS up...just don't expect cheap maintance.

What size turbo was Brent Rao using on his 2.0L block on his eclipse when he ran a 6.86 @ 199MPH. I know it was pushing 66LBS of boost, but I cant remember what turbo he was using. So yes you can use bigger that a GT42r or GT45r turbo on a 4g63 block. You just need to have a great tranny and lots of money to fix it each time it breaks!

it must be bigger than the GT45R, Rau's car is pushing over 1400hp..do they make GT47-88 for the Evo???
but ya tempting but i don't think i'm going to go any bigger than the 37R, i don't plan to run it down the track, just weekend road races..but i'm going to tune for C16.., most likely it'll be addicted to meth too
i'll the save the future supra for the track.
