If you want POWER, go with the FP green. If you're looking for RESPONSE, go with the Evo 9 with TiAl hotside.

Depends on what you like. You buying this used or new? Prob for a little more money you can get something better, but I love mine. Its basically an FP Green Comp. wheel in a stock CHRA! I have the 8 WR and I love it. Try to find a 9 WR b/c it has the 9 comp. housing, but if not its still a great turbo, despite what others may say and w/ supporting mods can make close to 400 on pump.

There are 2 different WR. One is an 8 WR and the other is a 9 WR. Both are exactly stock looking except that FP stuffed a FP green wheel in the stock compressor housings. Its as close to the FP green as you can get w/out buying a FP Green.

Do a search and read the posts and look at the pictures so you can really understand the difference between the two. The WR turbo usually has an 8 compressor housing and higher flowing comp wheel. The comp housing is smaller than the ix compressor housing and has the same size hotside's.

True, original white rabbits have the 5-blade FP compressor wheel in an 8 housing with a 10.5 single-puck hotside with a TME TiAl turbine wheel.

I swear on everything the green pine tree air freshener's are good for 2 hp. Just stay away from the yellow vanilla one's, could make you run lean.

I would expect an extra 20 whp if you are pushing around 23-24 psi, mostly due to the reduced boost taper. If you are only at around 21 psi, then you will see much less gain. Most of the advantage of the WR turbo is the fact that your torque curve won't dive in the higher RPMs compared to the stock turbo.

With the EvoGreen on pump gas, yes. With the WR it will be tough IMHO.

Hell no. You'll make around 330whp on pump gas. The EVO9 turbo will flow more, make more power ANDDD is $250 cheaper!

The white rabbit makes for a fun street car, it will not make great power, but will make some and have fantastic response.
