New Turbo Help

I just bought an EVO IX turbo to go on my evo 8! I understand that I need the new Turbo Outlet pipe with the stock intercooler piping. But do I still need the Turbo Outlet Pipe if I go with an aftermarket Lower Intercooler Pipe such as the BR, AMS, or Fighter Garage Pipe?
Thanks!

If I have the stock intercooler, will this kit from Forced Performance work to install the EVO IX turbo on my 8? With the SS Race Pipe instead of the OEM IX Pipe?

You need the Jpipe when changing the turbo because it moves the outlet over to far for you to get a proper clamp down on it.

Trust me get the install kit anyways because all those gaskets need to be changed "DO NOT REUSE" Oil gaskets

That is not what the outlet pipe/j pipe does the evo 9 turbo has a larger front housing and will make the evo 8 outlet pipe/ j pipe on a evo 9 turbo will hit the starter's positive wire under boost an cause a small electrical problem if you have ever grounded out a battery you kno what i am talking about.

the oil and the water pipes can be bent to fit but if you dont wanna do that get the kit.
