Getting Tranny Rebuild What's The Best Gearing?

^^ Noted. However I've had a few DSM related transactions with them and they were wonderful. Jon actually diagnosed a problem and sent me the correct bearings to fix said issue. On the other hand I purchased a 2G Shep tranny and found it to be very notchy.

My current tranny only has 7k miles on it so it doesn't need a rebuild. I just hate fourth gear enough to get it fixed. I hate shifting into fifth gear.

Jon quoted $575 to add in the EVO8 fourth gear and make all the usual tweaks for smoother shifting. I'm guessing it would be another $200 for third gear.

I'm not sure its worth $900 to avoid shifting into 4th gear!!!
