Its probably using the AEM for boost control.

EDIT: Just saw Dave's input. I was wrong.

OK, pump/alky tune is finished. 33 psi of boost peak and only for a second of the run.

AFR's in the high 10:1's. I know it will make more power leaner but I am pretty freaking happy like it is and see no reason to lean on it to make more.

Now back to work and see what some C16 will do. Hell I'd have been happy with 588 on C16!!

Isn't your daily driver an HTA 35R?

Straight pump gas is around 11.1-11.2:1.

Almost done with the C16 tune. Letting the car cool off right now.

crcrain, yes my daily driver is the HTA35r, it has never had pump gas in it. I drive it daily on C16, as U2SLO said.

Someone enlighten me, how is David running 29 psi on pump gas without the motor knocking itself to death? I need meth to run that high. Thanks in advance.

I think its a combination of a larger turbo and a good balance of timing. A stockish turbo on that much boost would be blowing hot air and out of efficiency but a 35r is in a sweet spot.

Just my guess...

Can't wait to see them c16 numbers Dave! Man next time I visit family up north in PA I will have to make a side trip to your shop

OK, all finished. Final boost was 38-39 psi. Car is still "conservative" running low 11:1 AFR's and timing that isn't aggressive by any means. I am surprised at the power the car made. You always want them to come out this good by not pushing them but it doesn't always happen.

This car is equipped with all the factory weight too along with A/C and such.

Final numbers 615 whp/509 ft lbs. Here is the dyno sheet:

I still have to road tune the car Marque and make sure it drives good for you. I should be able to get to that tomorrow, I don't have anyone spare today to drive it while I watch the laptop.

This car is going to blow you mind.
