HTA & Twin-Scroll

HTA & Twin-Scroll
Hey! I have a few questions regarding 35R turbos. First of all, these new HTA ones, are they similar or comparable to twin-scroll? Secondly, if I were to get an HTA35R from Forced Performance or Buschur, would I be able to use that with a Full-Race Twin-scroll manifold? And lastly, could someone list out to me the OTHER parts I would need to complete the install (oil lines, gaskets, etc., etc.)
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!

The new HTA turbo is not twin scroll, it is a normal T3 single exhaust inlet so a twin scroll manifold will not work with a single scroll turbo.
Don't forget O2 Housing, Intake solution, Rad Fan solution, Fittings for your oil and water lines, gaskets, Downpipe solution, Lower IC Pipe solution.

HTA single scroll in my opinion, but you don't have to do an HTA35R just research and find out what you want. To do things right you will need much more than probably just a turbo if you want to get the total benefit from it.

honesty not enough testing has been done on the TS gt35r for anyone to give their opinion... (well at least not enough testing on evos)
In theory I would think the TS would be better on the street (like as a DD and being able to build boost not just WOT and etc) however the HTA's performance as of right now is just amazing i mean BR is gonna go for a freaking 150mph trap this weekend that's just nuts on a 35r... however I dont now believe for one second anyone could do this.. however i do believe it shows what that turbo CAN do
so it depends on what you are looking for

ur best bet in this situation rcebowl would be to call Forced Performance, tell them wat ur looking for power wise. If its daily driven, drag, road course etc etc. Obviously doing a bigger turbo like a 35r with a 1.06 a/r is going to take the fun out of wat makes a EVO an EVO. Tq, response, and waiting till 5k for the party to start comes into mind, DEPENDING on wat ur actually looking to do with the car =) Best of luck in your choice of turbo as they are extremly critical for the situation of how they are used.

Hahah its not for me.. tseitz however i'm always reading and looking around... and commenting when i can
well hopefully with TS system the 1.06 would spool much better than 5k.. at least thats what i would think.... i mean ETS's t4 gt35r was just at or around 5k ... soo if you added TS i would hope it would be better
