greddy timing belts?

Question greddy timing belts?

are the greddy belts worth the $ i'm putting my evo back together and i thought about buying an after market belt. i can get it for 125 shiped from my distributor but i also could get the hsk or the power enter prise...so which of the three do you think i should get

ive got the greddy timing and balancer belts. its really all about your choice. id recommend either the greddy or hks. i dunno much about the pwr ent. hope this helps in your choice

I've heard on the Greddy belts, the blue paint comes off. I ordered a Gates kevlar timing/balancer belt from TTP engineering and those belts have the paint impregnated in the belts. Gates is the same company that makes the greddy belts.

All 3 belts are made by the same manufacture...just different colors/names stamped on them

I think you should stick with the factory oem timing belt, from my understanding all the top cars Buschur and AMS put out all run the oem belt unless customer wants something different. And we all know those are pretty high horsepower cars.

i agree. its all in what you want. i got a good deal on the greddy belts here in town and thats the reason why i went with them. other than that i wouldve stuck with stock.

Ive had the gates belts from TTP on the EVO for 30k now paint is still there. Half way to the next change

I did one because its stronger than the stock one....I have a stock one with 2500 miles on it, if you want it pm me and we can work something out.
