I've been looking for a solution to this. There has got to be a way to get the nice sound of the turbo and DV with a hard intake and not get the fluttering.

I've got a GFB BOV and it's worse now that I've switched turbos, driving me nuts.

I've been working with Forge on this issue with my 1g style DV. Mellon had a write- up about it with his Forge EVO15 valve. Seems very normal. Forge has been great to deal with in trying to solve mine (mine is much better than before).

However, many have switched to the APS Dual Vent, which seems to solve the problem. When I sent my DV to Forge, I put a stock 1g DSM valve on and it went away, but the valve leaked boost and made the car idle like pooo.

Just my $0.02

Well the APS doesn't entirely fix it........ when it's so freaking cold! The combination of the spring/car being so dang cold, as well as the air being more dense..... I get this for my first 20-25 minutes of my trip if I don't shift fast and stay out of any serious boost.. and drive a little "smarter". In the summer/fall/spring seasons it's almost never there.

Take it that it's not the BR filter that's causing the issues.. it's the fact that you can HEAR it since it's not all muffled by the stock air box... so it was always there, the sound just gets louder.

Mine does it with the stock BPV (well FQ 340 one).
