Thanks CO_VR4, DB and TTP. We're having a blast doing this 'thing' together. That's more important to us than anything else. I couldn't possibly have as much fun driving my own car. Speaking of which, Mike, I'll be coming your way as soon as I can, with a certain 'black and white' right behind me. I'll PM you later. We're STILL in Houston, waiting for OKIX to come down to the lobby. The support and fun we have reaching a GOAL is everything we've needed and wanted for a long time. I also made a minor suggestion to a fellow EvoM'er on his car and he went from 16.xx (not to real, but what it ran none the less) and he then went 11.8 then 11.6 I think. David, thanks again for the dyno, the time and such a great build. It's now paying off, literally.

As some of you know, OKIX ran 10.61 @ 130.7 mph and won the Houston Import Face Off's Street Quick 8 class. Had a 1.49 60', 6.812 1/8th mile, 10.61 1/4 et and 130.7 mph. I'm actually a little disappointed in the mphs, but couldn't tune due to evoscan not recognizing the cable. Barometric pressure was good and AFR's went lean on the first run, I added tons of fuel, then the logging stopped shortly thereafter. The rest of the day was using best guess to continue to dial the car in. Tire pressure changed by up to 2 psi because we would make a pass check pressure, it would go up a little, then we would drop it (since the lanes were open to make qualifying) then a Honda would break and shut everything down while we were staged. There was one stretch of 2 hours without racing. Too many TNT cars and the classes couldn't get their passes in. We're now 3 hundredths of a second from Curt Browns 20G-LT FP Green record. We've taken the mph record, now we have a goal to get the car into the 10.4's.
what's the launch technique and what compound and tire pressure? way to represent out there two thumbs way up

Congrats guys! I'm glad to hear that progress is being made. Did you ever get a chance to figure out the cable issue? Its to bad you ran into this problem. I'm sure you'll get everything fugured out.

Thanks for all of the posts. Here's a link to the Street Quick 8 passes. We missed videoing the 10.61 pass, I was in the trailer trying to gleen as much as I could from the first and only passes that we logged when we first got there. I must have read that log 5 times just trying to make a determination on what the settings should be.
