New Clutch Install now ACD PROBLEMS
So I got a new clutch and flywheel installed and now my ACD all goes green when I put it in gear!!!! A few have said too much air in the system and it needs to be bled?? Does that sound correct? If so... does anyone know of a place other then the dealer near Illinois that can do this??? And possibly some pricing?
Hope for some good feedback!

no do it yourself... look under the car.. at the bottom of the center diff is a bleeder like on a caliper... get a friend to get in the car... fill the resevoir ALL the way to the top.... loosen the bleeder at the bottom and turn the ignition on hold the gas on the floor with the ignition on and i about 5 sec it will bleed out of the bleeder... keep bleeding till all air is gone... no need to pay for it

bleed the ACD. it will take 5 minutes with even the most basic of wrenching skills. heres how:
1. prop up front of car.
2. get 10mm wrench, brake bleeding hose and container, and some dot 3 ATF fluid (i think thats what it is.. it says on the cap) make sure the filler tank is full BEFORE starting this process.
3. have a friend sit in drivers seat with keys
4. you crawl under car, put 10mm wrench on bleeder screw on the bottom of the transfercase (the TC is behind the engine, the front axles come out of it).
5. put hose over nipple.
6. have friend turn key to on positions and floor the gas pedal (don't start the car though). after a second or two, you'll hear a whining sound of the ACD motor going. when you hear that sound, crach the bleeder nipple and let the fluid and air come out, close nipple when you hear the pump stop. it will only run for about 4-5 seconds.
7. repeat process until you don't see any air coming out.

You need a quart of the diamond atf pictured above. The reason that someone said that you need a special tool is because if you have the MUT tool you can directly control the ACD pump and prime it very easily. If you dont have the MUT tool (laptop with software for mitsu techs), then you have to bleed it 5 seconds at a time as described above.
