Has anyone tried to put ayc into a acd equipped USDM Evo? I've tried searching the threads, but had no luck. Is it a major process? What parts are required?
Rear Diff, computer? Just curious if it could be done for a few (obviously a lot of) $$$$, or if there's a major chassis difference or something.
Any links anyone has where this has been done would be appreciated.

From my understanding, it is very difficult. I believe we have a different tank and evaporative junk that takes up the room for the extra parts. Also, from my understanding, the maintenance is very high for the AYC and it tends to break if you put high hp through it and drive aggressively (like on the track), which is why many track cars are built off the RS without the AYC (besides the other differences). Also, if it does break or need servicing, you will be hard pressed to find a tech that knows how to work on it and spare parts in the US. However, this is all based on a conversation I had with a guy who runs a shop

Bump.... What is involved with doing an AYC addition? Does anyone have experience driving an AYC equipped evo vs. one without? Is there that noticeable of a difference to justify the cost for a US Spec Evo?
